Coronary Heart Disease

Coronary Heart Disease also known as Coronary Artery Disease is a disease in which a waxy substance called plaque builds up inside the coronary arteries. These arteries supply oxygen rich blood to the heart muscles. There are many health/risk factors associated with coronary heart disease and stroke. Among the many sections of the Affordable Care Act is a section entitled Health Care Workforce. But, a shorter name that is used for this section it Title V. Title V provides improved access to and the delivery of health care services for all individuals, particularly low income, undeserved, uninsured, minority, health disparity, and rural populations. This service is provided by: 1. Gathering and assessing comprehensive data in order for the health care workforce to meet the health care needs of individuals, including research on the supply demand, distribution, diversity, and skills needs of the health care workforce.

2. Increasing the supply of a qualified health care workforce to improve access to and the delivery of health care services for all individuals.

3. Enhancing health care workforce education and training to improve access to and the delivery of health care services for all individuals.
