I have recently graduated from the University of Toronto with honors in the doctorate degree of dental surgery. I hereby would wish to submit my application for the above advanced course. Currently I am a Prosthodontics demonstrator and believe I possess the appropriate abilities and qualities to pursue this field coupled with my deep interest and experience in dentistry. In addition I hold a bachelor of science in biological science from the University of Ontano
My theoretical experience in the health sciences dates back to over 8 years back when I first wrote my first research paper on El mice and reasons for their high rates of missing molars. This paper renewed and reinforced my conviction of pursuing a career in dentistry. My academic qualifications and credentials speak for themselves and are a further attestation that I am the most appropriate candidate to pursue this course. Among many other factors that this letter seeks to address
I have acquired some experience in oral surgery. Apart from currently being a clinical instructor for the second year students at the University of Toronto, I have attended a couple of dental implant seminars conducted by accredited instructions and experts in the field. I also attended a very fulfilling and engaging month long internship in the University of Southern California, specifically practicing on oral and maxillofacial surgery. My interest in this field stems back from my family.
My father is a Prosthodontics of immense experience and has actually been a source of great inspiration to me; he has influenced my choice and interest in this field. If successful, I believe joining him in this profession will present a formidable force of dealing with the various dental complications facing patients I am a philanthropist who believes in the dualistic nature of medicine. It is a hardcore science with a softer nature of helping people.
Pursuit of knowledge in the field of medicine will equip me with the necessary skills and experience to enable me improve and alleviate human suffering. Being of modest economic and social background gives me a first hand understating of human suffering. Having immigrated to north America at the age of 9 years from Iran, a country whose health sector is not as efficient as in the developed world, I have seen how dental complications can have an impact on the physical and social well being of an individual.
As a Prosthodontics I can give them a new smile and a new lease in life. I have been discriminated against in this land. This experience gives me but more interest of helping and dealing with the people of lower social-economic class in the understanding that this cadre of people despite the many health crises they face usually cannot afford advanced health services I am well aware of the tight schedule and the strenuous demands laid upon oral surgeons.
My experience in the last few years in the current practice has shown that I am able to cope with the demands and emergencies as they arise. With above qualities I am confident that I am equipped with the appropriate skills and qualification to make me the right candidate to pursue this case. I hope my application will be considered. Attached please find a copy of my C. V and the relevant documents. Yours faithfully Amir. M. khadiri
