It is miraculous to me that we can answer, “yes” to the question above. Before this video I hadn’t heard of any advancement in the medical field involving cancer, not to this magnitude. William Li mentioned that cancer needs a blood supply to thrive and become larger, but without this blood supply the tumor would dwindle down eventually into nothing. He also mentioned that we, humans, get several of these tumors but that the majority of them don’t gain the blood supply and oxygen they need to live thus rendering them harmless.
Angiogenesis is the development of new blood vessels and when these new blood vessels form, from my understanding, that they attach to the tumor and it now is getting the oxygen, blood supply and nutrients it needs to grow into a deadly cancer. An insufficient amount of blood cells can cause diseases such as stroke, hair loss, coronary heart disease, etc. An excessive amount can cause cancer, arthritis, and obesity, etc.
All of these share abnormal angiogenesis as their common denominator as William Li phrases it, he also says that if we can control (which we have or are trying to do) the angiogenesis then we can stop the diseases from forming. Controlling the angiogenesis has gained the name antiangiogenic therapy, and it is completely different from chemotherapy because it selectively aims at the blood vessels feeding the cancers. They’re abnormal, poorly constructed blood cells so they are completely vulnerable and easy to target. This has become the number one goal.
Getting back to the ‘can we eat to starve cancer? ’ question, William Li brings up that diet contributes to 30-35% of environmentally caused cancers. He asked “what could we add to our diet that is naturally antiangiogenic? ” The foods and beverages that we can add to our diet include strawberries, raspberries, green tea, soy, parsley, grapes, tomatoes, and many others. There have been studies such as the 79,000 men over 20 years of time with the amount of tomato sauce they ate and how that reduced their risk of cancer, it dramatically lowered the risk of cancer.
Obesity is another topic he touches on, “can we shrink fat by cutting off its blood supply? ” The adipose tissue (fat) is angiogenesis dependent. We can also control obesity with the naturally occurring antiangiogenic foods, beverages and spices. Two birds, one stone. This information is so exciting and exhilarating to hear, and this video is from 2010! Amazing, I am utterly at a loss for words, the examples such as the patient who had brain cancer, the canine that had cancer on his lung and the horse with cancer on its lip were all cured because of this.
Dr. Burzynski- his cancer cure. Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski targeted cancer with Antineoplastons that he discovered in the 1970’s. Ever since then he has been involved in one of the largest legal battles with the Food and Drug Administration in history. In this video, many survivors of cancer came forward to explain their disease and how Dr. Burzynski cured them with his antineoplastons. One of the patients was a little girl who was diagnosed with diffuse, intrinsic, childhood brainstem glioma that had never before been cured in any environmental clinic trial.
Dr. Burzynski’s antineoplastons hold the first cure in history. The little girl’s parents didn’t want their daughter to go through the chemotherapy and radiation therapy, this would burn her ears, she would become deaf, lose her hair and after all of that she would still eventually die. Approximately 8 months later, if I remember correctly, the parents heard of Burzynski’s therapy and the antineoplastons he uses to cure cancer, and they went for it and their daughter gained a full recovery. This has been a 14 year journey for Dr.
Burzynski and his patients to finally obtain FDA approved clinical trials of antineoplastons. I personally cannot fathom why the FDA is and were so against this. Of course I can see their disapproval because of the lack of money that would have come to them but aren’t individuals lives more important? I’m sure this question is asked frequently. Dr. Burzynski was doing nothing wrong, he was saving lives. In the time it took them to complete this trial, I can’t imagine how many lives were lost.
These antineoplastons are incredible to me and it makes me feel more secure that cancer research is developing and we are attaining more results than I had thought previously. It shocks me that I haven’t heard Burzynski’s name before this assignment, or what the FDA has been trying to do to prevent him from continuing his practice. I will definitely continue to be updated on this from now on, this is revolutionary and I’m so glad to be a part of it. I am more than excited to see what cures and treatments stem from this rather than for a patient to have to attend chemotherapy and radiation sessions. Great assignment, great videos.
