I. Introduction

A. Herbs with medicinal properties also known as alternative medicine. Alternative medicine is any practice that ensures to healing and that does not have a direct relation within the realm of conventional medicine. It may be based on historical or cultural traditions, rather than on scientific evidence. Alternative medicine is frequently grouped with complementary medicine or integrative medicine, which, in general, refers to the same interventions when used in conjunction with mainstream techniques, under the umbrella term complementary and alternative medicine, or CAM. Some examples of CAM are therapies are acupuncture, chiropractic and herbal medicines.

Alternative medicine methods are diverse in their foundations and methodologies. Methods may incorporate or base themselves on traditional medicine, folk knowledge, spiritual beliefs, or newly conceived approaches to healing.

II. General Content

A. The primitive system of directly applying Alternative Medicine 1. In northern Iraq a 60,000-year-old has yielded large amount of pollen from 8 plant species, 7 of which are used today as herbal remedies.

B. Today we use a lot of herbal medicine as an alternative medicine for the cure or treatment of many diseases.

C. The alternative medicine with medicinal herbs in the treatment of liver disease, have some usage than help the liver to healing.

1. Stimulate the function of the liver

Example: Dandelion

2. The milk thistle could lead to a significant reduction in liver-related mortality.

3. Some research indicates that turmeric may be useful in treatment of hepatitis B and hepatitis C.

4. Burdock (an herb often used as a natural detox remedy) may help in cases of intoxication causes by a drugs or alcohol consumption. 5. The sweet tea vine helps strengthen immunity and stimulates liver function and works as a sedative hepatic and antispasmodic.

D. Other medicinal herbs may maintain the correct function and prevent some damages in the liver.

1. Liver care by using natural and safe fruit papaya. 2. Mixture vegetable juice like carrots and spinach may prevent liver cirrhosis. 3. Dandelion and milk thistle also helps to prevent a liver disease.

III. Conclusion A. Liver care cannot be ignored; healthy liver is essential for good functioning of the lover and in prevents a lot of liver disease. If the person not have a healing liver all the body functions gets affected because the liver is one of the most effective organ of the body. We can see that the herbal medicines may help us to get a healing liver and also help us to prevent some liver disease that can be mortal in the future.

Sometimes the alternative medicine is not the best choice but a good liver care needs some of these herbal medicines to get a normal and a good functioning.
