AMBULATORY HEALTH CARE SERVICES In order to increase social interaction and awareness, Adult day programs are provided so that recreation, socialization for elders will be existed. The program allows the clients to remain in their homes as along as possible, so that monitoring of client’s health is accessible. The Adult Day programs will be conducted across the Prince Edwand Island. It is a community baser service and operates under medical direction and supervision.

In this province, two plans cover insured health services such as Hospital Insurance plan and Medical Service Insurance Plan.
