How and why require just brief journey into my past. Family & Education Since schooling days, I have had a curiosity to know how drugs are formulated and how they act. My parents have always been a strong inspiration for me and have given me the full freedom to choose my career.
It was my dream to attain a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy as it opened up many possibilities and interesting challenges for the reason that Pharmaceutical sciences are the roots of many interesting scientific subjects. During my High School Tenure, I secured 86% in S. S. C examination which sought me an admission to the Science Stream. My innate propensity towards science stimulated me to take up PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY in high school education and completed it with 81%.
A strong inclination towards chemistry and drug formulations has propelled me to take up Bachelors degree in Pharmacy at VIJAYA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, affiliated to JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, HYDERABAD. Besides being one of the most reputed Universities in India. The syllabus content is among the best in India, and it has given me a comprehensive exposure to the core of the Course with a strong conceptual understanding of the same.

I have been exposed to a balanced syllabus with courses in Pharmaceutics, Physical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering,Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology, Toxicology,Medicinal Chemistry and Clinical Pharmacy and Theraupeutics taught by highly qualified and competent faculty members , I have also gained the adequate practical experience through Laboratory works, Workshops ,frequent guest lectures and interacting with industrialists which has given me the platform to discover things beyond the limits of my curriculum. I have consistently scored above 70% throughout my 4 years of B. Pharmacy. Projects and Activities Team work at my college was always emphasized. Doing work in solitude is somewhat boring and tiresome; instead one should always look forward to do work as a part of a team.
Division of work among the good team members gets the right aim and success. Also sharing the fruit of success among the team gives more happiness. The sharing of ideas and new findings has always been a vital part of my undergraduate life. I started enjoying diving into a flood of data, picking out relevant information and in order to keep my self ahead in academics, I have got a decent command on MS-Office, Windows and C. As part of Academics, I have undergone one month industrial training program at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.
This program helped me to learn the different aspects of Preparation, Coating of Tablets, Filling of Capsules, ELISA, HPLC, GC, Preparation and evaluation of emulsions, suspensions, creams and pastes, Dissolution and Disintegration studies of tablets. My theoretical knowledge helped me to understand the complexity of practical approach with ease.. During my course I had regular visits to Pharmaceutical industries.. Why Only Master’s? I believe that enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge never ends and that life in itself is a process of continuous learning.
The boundless possibility of trying out and the instant knowledge of the outcome that stimulates one for further analysis of a rationale in question is what I find most appealing about Pharmaceutical sciences. Keeping up an inquisitive and explorative attitude, will lead to a constant learning process. This approach adds to the already immense potential for innovation that exists in this field. Many renaissances have undergone over the past few decades and its application has advanced this field immensely.
I want to bridge the core branches of pharmacy with my upgraded study. I am largely fascinated by subjects namely Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry but my prime desire is in the field of Pharmaceutics. The various branches of Pharmaceutics have always fascinated me. These include Biopharmaceutics , Pharmacokinetics, Novel drug delivery systems and Advanced Industrial Pharmacy. I have no doubt that your University is ‘the’ appropriate one for me, since it provides a unique mix of educational advantages.
