Hepatitis C & risk factors

Hepatitis C is a major disease of the world with its cases annual increase in the number of cases. The epidemiology of the disease largely depends on various types of risk factors associated with different regions and different cultures. The predominant factors however include injecting drugs, contaminated blood transfusion, and reuse of contaminated syringes. Reducing the incidence of the disease largely depends upon dealing effectively with the risk factors.

The risk factor differs with different regions and different cultures. The present study aims at the epidemiology of the disease in different regions of the world that would help in preventing the disease as the disease prevalence depends on different risk factors of the region.
