Over the last couple of years there has been many adverts that promote the effects of smoking what it does to your body, for example there were a group of friends smoking in a bar the cigarettes they were smoking had fatty deposits coming out of the end of the cigarette. This highlighted the damage of smoking how fatty deposits clog your arteries this message had a deep impact reflectively showed you the internal damage of smoking this was a very powerful message had a good impact for people to stop smoking.
Here is another example a pregnant lady is smoking, the advert portrays the foetus smoking with smoke fumes being inside the womb coming “If you smoke your baby will smoke too”. Yet again this is a very powerful message; Mother will be able to see the damage and impact it will have on their on unborn child initially this will discourage mothers in smoking there for this is a good way of the NHS to promote health.
