Inner desires are facilitated nowadays by the movies, television shows, readings, magazines and other media articles that portray the modernization of the minds of the people nowadays. If people before are afraid to express their sexualities, now is different. Governed by the laws of the Christian faith, people are very reluctant to discuss such things that will make them appear perverts and unethical.
With the growing trend of the vulgar exploitation of sexuality, there are many circumstances we see that can lead to much bigger problems in the future. AIDS, yes, the passe sexually transmitted disease that everyone dreads aside from cancer is being disregarded by many. With the pleasure of being with the one you love, or say you like at the moment erases the fear of acquiring AIDS in t he future. I have a friend who tries to justify what she does whenever she commits pre-marital sex with different guys in a week.
She even is proud of owning a toy that suffices her need of flesh. I do not really see it as healthy, even if many doctors agree that sex stimulates muscles and heat pumping; I find it unclean to be with someone whom you do not share any personal stuffs and grievances with. I still honor and believe with the spirit and power of marriage. Career – oriented future Upon driving home last weekend, I noticed a number of men working for the bridges and other billboard infrastructures on the high way.
Even if the time of the day was not that good enough, they still manage to perform their jobs on late night or midday disregarding the heat of the sun and the diseases they could get from a long time exposure to the sun’s radiance. There are just some careers like these that I think are effort some and requires strong will for pursuance. In my life, there are always many questions that bother me when it comes to the career I am going to take in the future.
If I will consider the opinions of my parents, I’d be talking up law school but if that do not fit with my passion, I’d rather take dentistry and be a dentist for kids as I dreamed of. Perhaps, doctors, engineers and field workers are tagged with the males or men; it is I think ok to have women leading the way to medicine and engineering. It is just important that people will know their limitation and priorities so as not to have conflict with the “work” and “family” schema as presented in Competing Devotions by Mary Blair-Loy (2003).
