Appropriateness of chosen exercises. Explain why you have chosen at least two of the exercises/ activities and how they will help you achieve your targets. (order of exercises, why you have chosen the exercises how they will help your specific component) 5 marks We chose to focus our training on football, the training we are doing is circuit and specific training. We put a lot of thought into which stations to do and also in which order we would do them.

We chose to set it out as doing a skill then fitness because it gives the body a rest at the skill parts of the session. For station 1 we did shooting at a goal for 3 minutes, I did this because I need to improve shooting; it was the main skill I wanted to achieve through the whole program. I also decided do involve a shuttle run to prove my movement and the speed of movement. This helps in football because it means you can change direction quickly and easily and created more opportunities for the team. We chose passing with movement to be involved in our training program because it helps so many skill such as passing, accuracy and movement.

As we did passing with movement it helps your accuracy because you have to move and pass at the same time but also get it to the other person. This skill will also help in my shooting by getting them on target. It is also important to improve passing because it’s a key skill in football.

Were the exercises/ activities the correct ones to choose? Explain why/why not. The activities i chose worked well because they were all football related and help me improve my shooting and passing which are my main objects of doing the sessions. Were the exercises in the correct order? Explain why/why not. i chose skill then fitness, it worked well and it help the session flow. It also helped my body work to the best of its ability because i gave my body a small time to recover while i was doing a skill activity. I think that is the reason for achieving the scores that i did.

Did you make any changes to your programme? Explain why you did/did not do so. i didn’t make any changes to our programme because i found that it work well and also help improve our areas i wanted to improve. I felt that the session went well and were well organised. Explain the effects performing had on you in any of the 5 sessions. There were some effects of the session, from the first session the effects was on my muscles, when we finished my muscles were painful.

The effects after session 5 were massive, the effects after session 5 were and improvement in my shooting and passing but there was not much improvement in my muscular endurance.  Were the results you achieved what you expected? Explain why this was/was not the case Yes I achieved my aims and it will help me greatly in football, as iv improve my passing and shooting it will help me create more chances or set up another player in football. i think that my improvement was more than i expected because it has helped my passing and shooting
