A Partnership for the Future of Health Care

Welcome to the New Mexico Clostridium Difficile Prevention Project Nursing Training Module

The module is intended for nurses, to provide the most current recommendations for practice for the patient with Clostridium Difficile Infection (CDI)

The training module was developed to meet an identified need for providers participating in the New Mexico CDI Prevention Project (CDIPP) and can be used for individualized learning or through group sessions. It has been approved for continuing nursing education (CNE) by the New Mexico Hospital Association (NMHA), an approved provider of CNE by the New Mexico Nurses Association CNE Accredited Approver Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Participants in the New Mexico CDI Prevention Project and the New Mexico HAI Learning and Action Network are eligible to take the test for a CNE certificate. To access this version, please contact Lisa Bess for a password. If your facility is not participating, feel free to skip to the non-accredited training module.

To receive a CNE certificate, nurses must successfully complete the module’s pretest, view the presentation with accompanying audio, complete a posttest, and complete an evaluation of the course.

Enjoy your learning!!
